It depends on your cars and what you want to do. If you have cars from several makes, start with the multi-brand CR range. If they’re all from the same group (VAG or BMW, for example), a single-brand tool goes deeper for less money. Not sure? Email us your VIN and we’ll tell you the exact model.

Are they for home mechanics or just for workshops?

Both. They’re workshop tools, but many of our customers are drivers who use them on their own cars: reading and clearing faults, turning off the engine warning light, doing an oil service reset or replacing pads on cars with an electronic parking brake.
