Two cases worth knowing

The RT V1.0 doesn't do the service reset on every car: on the 2019 Dacia Logan, for example, it doesn't. And it doesn't open the electronic parking brake, so on an Espace IV or a Scénic with an electronic brake you can't use it to change the pads. If either of those is what you need, go for the FR V2.0.

There is no RT V2.0

Lots of people look for an RT V2.0, but it doesn't exist. iCarsoft has put Renault and Dacia together with the other French and Italian makes in the FR V2.0. So with a Dacia and a Peugeot at home, you only need one tool. The CP V1.0, designed for PSA, is also listed with Renault and Dacia on the iCarsoft website, but we sell it for Peugeot and Citroën.

Coding on Renault

Neither the FR V2.0 nor the RT V1.0 does coding. The CR Max models do code on Renault, among other groups.

Is there an iCarsoft RT V2.0?

No. The current tool for Renault and Dacia is the FR V2.0.

Does the RT V1.0 turn off the service reminder on a Dacia?

On some models yes and on others no; on the 2019 Logan, for example, it doesn't. The FR V2.0 does.

Can I regenerate the DPF on my Mégane dCi?

Yes, with the FR V2.0.
