Jeep and Chrysler from 2020 on

The latest GM and Chrysler models use CAN-FD, a faster protocol that many older scanners can't speak. The US V2.0 has it. There is also a known exception on the BCC V1.0: it doesn't do the oil reset on the 2020 Jeep Renegade.

Imported cars

Many American cars on European roads are imports and may be a different market version. The US V2.0 carries the US, European and Australian software, so it covers most of them. If yours is unusual, send us the VIN before ordering.

If your car is a European Ford

It has its own page, Ford diagnostics, covering what is specific to the Focus, Kuga and Transit. The BCC V1.0 is for Chrysler, Jeep and GM, and the FD V1.0 is for Ford.

FCA Secure Gateway

The latest Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge models have a Secure Gateway (SGW) that blocks some functions. To get through it you need a CR Ultra with a paid AutoAuth account. You'll find them in workshop diagnostic tools.
