POR V1.0 exceptions

Before choosing the POR V1.0, check your model. It isn't compatible with the 911 (993). On a 2019 Macan you only get the engine basics. And on 2024 Porsches there are service functions that iCarsoft is still fine-tuning in its updates. If your car is one of those three, ask us before ordering.

SUVs and saloons: the POR V2.0

On a Cayenne or a Panamera, a new battery has to be registered and the rear pads go through the electronic parking brake. Diesel Cayennes also have a particulate filter. The POR V2.0 handles all of that, and for an independent garage that sees the odd Porsche it is an affordable way to avoid sending it elsewhere.

Porsche and the Volkswagen Group

Porsche shares a lot of electronics with Audi and Volkswagen, especially on the SUVs, but the tools are different. If you have a Porsche and an Audi at home, a multi-brand tool may make more sense than two single-brand ones: the CR Pro covers both makes.
