CP V1.0 description
The iCarsoft CP V1.0 is iCarsoft's simplest tool for Citroën, Peugeot and DS. It reads and clears faults on the engine, transmission, ABS, airbag and other modules, clears the service reminder and calibrates the steering angle. It costs €134.95 and updates free for life.
For a C3, C4, 208 or 308
If you want to know why a warning light has come on and decide for yourself whether it needs a garage, the CP V1.0 will tell you. It reads the codes from each control unit, shows live data and clears faults once they're fixed. It gets into the ABS and airbag, which is where a generic OBD2 reader goes blind. After an oil change it resets the indicator, and if you've worked on the steering, it recalibrates the angle sensor.
Which cars it covers
Models from 1996 to 2025 through the 16-pin OBD2 port. iCarsoft's spec sheet also lists Renault, Dacia, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Abarth, Ferrari, Maserati and Renault Samsung, although it's always been used as a Citroën and Peugeot tool. For another make, check with us first. Six languages, English included, and updates over USB-C from a PC.
CP V1.0 limits
It doesn't regenerate the DPF on HDi and BlueHDi engines, open the electronic parking brake or register batteries. It doesn't do activations or coding either.
CP V1.0 or FR V2.0?
Its successor is the FR V2.0, with the same makes, all-systems reading, a 4" screen and nine functions: it adds electronic parking brake, DPF, battery, TPMS, injectors, ABS bleeding and throttle. For a modern diesel, get the FR V2.0. For reading faults and resetting the service light, the CP V1.0 does the job and saves you €60. We compare them in V1.0 vs V2.0.
