OP V1.0 description
The iCarsoft OP V1.0 is the simple option for Opel and Vauxhall from 1996 to 2025. It reads every system, does the service reset and steering angle, and updates free for life. It costs €134.95.
From a nineties Vectra to a current Corsa
It connects to every Opel and Vauxhall from those years through the 16-pin OBD2 cable, no adapters needed. It reads and clears faults on the engine, gearbox, ABS, airbag and other modules, with live data to confirm a hunch before you replace a part. After an oil change it resets the service indicator; the process is in oil service reset with a diagnostic tool. It also calibrates the steering angle sensor.
It has all 10 OBD2 modes, with I/M readiness and EVAP, so you can see whether the car will pass the emissions test. It keeps a history of the cars you've diagnosed and prints reports from a Windows PC.
What's left out
It doesn't calibrate the CIM module on the steering column, adapt the Easytronic automated gearbox or run active tests. It doesn't open the electronic parking brake or regenerate the DPF either. It's for diagnostics and basic servicing.
OP V1.0 or OP V2.0
The OP V2.0 is the current generation: 4" screen and nine functions, with electronic parking brake, DPF, battery, injectors, ABS bleeding, throttle and TPMS. It's also the replacement for the old OP II. If you have a CDTI with a particulate filter, go for the V2.0. If you only want to diagnose and reset the service light, the V1.0 saves you €60.
2.8" screen with buttons, VIN reading, CAN-FD and menus in English, Spanish, German, French, Dutch and Italian.
