    TPMS S6000 description

The iCarsoft TPMS S6000 is a programmable tyre pressure sensor that works on both 315 MHz and 433.92 MHz in a single unit. It arrives blank: you program it with a TPMS tool, either copying the old sensor's ID or creating a new one, then fit it to the wheel like any replacement sensor. Sold individually at €24.95.

One part number for almost every car

When a sensor's battery dies or it breaks during a tyre change, you'd normally hunt down the exact OE part number. With a programmable sensor you don't need to. The same S6000 suits a European car (433.92 MHz) or an American one (315 MHz). For a tyre shop, that means one box of sensors on the shelf instead of twenty part numbers.

    Clone or create an ID

If the original sensor still responds, the programmer reads its ID and copies it to the S6000. The car sees it as its own and there's nothing else to do. If the old one is dead, you create a new ID and then run the relearn on the car's ECU. Move it to another wheel or another car and you simply program it again. Step by step in how to program TPMS sensors.

    Which programmers it works with

iCarsoft lists it as compatible with the TPMS V800 and with the CR Eagle and CR Eagle P. We can't guarantee it with other brands of programmer. Before you order, check your car appears in the programmer's coverage list.

    Fitting

It goes on the rim in place of the old sensor. Inflate the tyre to the correct pressure, fit the new cap and balance the wheel. Balancing isn't optional. As it's a safety part, it's best fitted by a professional.

It measures pressure to ±5 kPa and temperature to ±3 °C. The battery lasts 3 to 5 years.

    Frequently asked questions

Does the TPMS S6000 come programmed for my car?

No. It arrives blank and needs programming before fitting, with the TPMS V800 or a CR Eagle.

Can I copy the ID from my old sensor?

Yes, as long as the programmer can read the original sensor. If it doesn't respond, you create a new ID and run the relearn on the car.

Does it work on American cars?

Yes. It runs on 315 MHz, the usual North American frequency, and on 433.92 MHz, the European one.

    Does the wheel need balancing?

Yes, every time after fitting the sensor.
