POR V1.0 description
The iCarsoft POR V1.0 is the most affordable option in the Porsche range: make-specific diagnostics for models from 1996 to 2025, with all-systems reading, service reset and steering angle. It costs €134.95 and updates are free for life.
What the POR V1.0 does
It reads and clears faults on the engine, gearbox, ABS, airbag and every other reachable control unit, and shows the live data and freeze frame for each. It checks the OBD2 monitors (I/M readiness, O2 sensors, EVAP and pending codes). It resets the service indicator after an oil change and calibrates the steering angle sensor.
It saves reports you can show the garage so they see exactly which codes the car had.
Exceptions worth knowing
It doesn't work on the 993-generation 911. On the 2019 Macan it only offers basic engine functions, and on 2024 models some service functions are still being refined. Before using it, switch off the car's energy-saving mode and update the tool. If you have a particular Porsche in mind, ask us before you buy.
POR V1.0 coverage
Through the 16-pin OBD2 port, with VIN reading and CAN-FD. 2.8" screen with buttons and menus in English and five other languages. It isn't bi-directional.
POR V1.0 or POR V2.0
The POR V2.0 moves up to a 4" screen and nine functions, adding electronic parking brake, battery registration, DPF, injectors, ABS bleeding, throttle and TPMS. If you service a Cayenne or Panamera yourself, you'll notice the difference. For reading faults and clearing the service light, the V1.0 does the job.
