LR V1.0 description
The iCarsoft LR V1.0 reads every system on Land Rover and Jaguar models from 1996 to 2025, resets the oil service and calibrates the steering angle. It costs €134.95 and updates free for life.
Know what's wrong before you book in
It's a tool for the owner who wants to walk into the dealer already knowing what's going on, or who'd rather decide for themselves whether a fault is urgent. It reads and clears codes on the engine, transmission, ABS, airbag and other systems, and shows live data and freeze frame for each fault. The I/M readiness test lets you check the emissions monitors before the MOT or NCT.
After an oil change it resets the indicator, mileage and interval. If you replace steering parts or have an alignment done, it recalibrates the angle sensor.
What it doesn't do, and on these makes it matters
It doesn't open the electronic parking brake and has no suspension functions. On a Discovery, a Range Rover Sport or a recent Evoque, both are very common. It doesn't regenerate the DPF or register batteries either, and it isn't bi-directional; iCarsoft keeps active tests for the LR V3.0.
Makes, years and connection
Land Rover and Jaguar from 1996 to 2025 through the 16-pin OBD2 port, no adapters needed. It reads the VIN by itself and speaks CAN-FD for recent platforms. 2.8" screen with buttons and six languages, English included.
LR V1.0 or LR V2.0
For €60 more, the LR V2.0 adds electronic parking brake, DPF, battery, injectors, ABS bleeding, throttle and TPMS, with a 4" screen. If your car is a diesel or has an electronic parking brake, go for the V2.0. For diagnosing faults and clearing the service light, the V1.0.
