LR V2.0 description
The iCarsoft LR V2.0 is iCarsoft's diagnostic tool for Land Rover and Jaguar from 1996 to 2025. It reads every system reachable through OBD2 and has 9 service functions, with free updates for life. It costs €194.95.
Skip the dealer for the basics
Defender, Discovery, Range Rover, Evoque, XE, XF, F-Pace… On almost all of them, routine servicing now goes through the electronics. Rear pads need the electronic parking brake in service mode. Most are diesels with a particulate filter, and a new battery has to be registered. The LR V2.0 lets you do all three at home or in your own workshop.
The other six functions: service reminder reset, steering angle, throttle adaptation, injector coding, ABS bleeding and TPMS sensor relearn. If the DPF warning comes on, read how to regenerate the particulate filter first.
Fault reading, suspension included
It reads and clears codes on the engine, automatic gearbox, ABS, airbag, suspension, body and every other control unit the car exposes. With live data and freeze frame you can see what was happening when the light came on, before you clear it. What it doesn't do is active tests or bi-directional calibrations, so it can't, for example, adjust air suspension ride heights.
LR V2.0 compatibility
Through the 16-pin OBD2 port, with CAN, KWP2000, ISO 9141-2, J1850 and CAN-FD for recent models. It's operated with buttons, which helps when you're working in gloves. 4" screen and 15 languages.
LR V2.0 or LR V1.0
The LR V1.0 reads the same cars for €60 less, but it only does oil and steering angle, and has no parking brake function. On makes where an electronic brake and a particulate filter are standard, the V2.0 is the one that pays for itself.
