BCC V1.0 description
The iCarsoft BCC V1.0 is a make-specific tool for Chrysler, Jeep and GM. It reads and clears engine, transmission, ABS and airbag faults, shows sensor readings and resets the service interval. It costs €134.95.
What it does on your car
It diagnoses the engine and transmission and clears the codes once the cause is fixed. It gets into the ABS and airbag, which a generic OBD2 reader can't reach. With real-time readings you can check an O2 sensor or a temperature sensor before replacing it. On compatible models, it resets the service interval.

Exceptions
It doesn't do the oil reset on the 2020 Jeep Renegade. The starting year depends on the model, so tell us yours before you buy. It doesn't open the electronic parking brake or regenerate the DPF either.

BCC V1.0 or US V2.0
The US V2.0 is the current alternative: Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ford, GM and Holden, with a 4" screen, all-systems reading, nine service functions (electronic parking brake, DPF, battery, TPMS and more) and free updates for life. With a Jeep and a Ford at home, one tool covers both. The BCC V1.0 is enough if you only want to read faults and reset the service light. If you only have a Ford, the simple option is the FD V1.0.
