MHM V1.0 description
The iCarsoft MHM V1.0 covers four makes with one tool: Mitsubishi, Honda, Acura and Mazda. It reads and clears engine, transmission, ABS and airbag faults, shows sensor readings and resets the service interval. It replaces the old i990 for Honda and costs €134.95.
MHM V1.0 functions
It reads and clears engine and transmission codes and gets into the ABS and airbag, which basic OBD2 readers can't do. Sensor readings let you keep an eye on how the engine is running, and after a repair you can check the fault doesn't come back. At service time it resets the maintenance reminder; if it's your first time, follow the oil service reset guide.
Not for hybrids
This matters with these makes, because Honda, Mitsubishi and Mazda have plenty of them. The MHM V1.0 isn't compatible with hybrids or plug-ins. If yours is one, ask us about the JP V2.0 before you buy.
MHM V1.0 coverage
Mitsubishi, Honda, Acura and Mazda through the OBD2 port. The starting year depends on the model, so we'll confirm it once we know your model and year. Menus in English and other languages, and the first year of updates is free.
MHM V1.0 or JP V2.0
The JP V2.0 includes these four makes and adds Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki, Hyundai, Kia and others, up to 16, with nine service functions, including electronic parking brake, DPF and battery. If you'll be servicing a recent Mazda or Honda yourself, it's worth it. The MHM V1.0 sticks to diagnostics and the service reset, and does that well. If you came looking for the i990, this has the same systems and more makes.
